Robbers Not Guilty of Possessing RM207k From Gold Heist

In a Kuala Lumpur court, Mahedran A/L Sumudam and Low King Yow were acquitted of possessing stolen gold worth RM207,900. The prosecution alleged the gold was from an armed robbery, but the defense argued no evidence linked them to the crime. Mahedran, represented by counsels Dato Geethan Ram Vincent and Revin Kumar, voluntarily surrendered for questioning. Judge Tuan Izralizam Bin Sanusi ruled the prosecution failed to establish a case, leading to the defendants’ discharge.
